Be Encouraged

We as believers have hope - Our hope is in nothing other than Jesus Christ.

In Ephesians 2:12 Paul offers a picture of those who do not have hope: ...That at that time you

were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

 

Paul says that the lost are without three things: without Christ, without God, without hope. When you are without hope, you are without Christ and without God. Hope is that integral to our salvation. 

 

In Colossians 1:27, Paul writes: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery...which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

The one who has Christ within has hope for the future—a glorious, radiant, confident expectation of eternal glory with Almighty God.

Declare I have hope for Christ lives in me. 

 

Church

Call for unity in the church and oneness of spirit among spiritual leaders. 

Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, 

so that they may be one as we are one

John 17:11

 

Pray that the hearts of leaders would be drawn together by a oneness of spirit 

 

From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, 

building itself up in [unselfish] love.

Ephesians 4:16AMP

 

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Call forth biblical theology without diminishing the power of Holy Spirit

America 

 

Give thanks for divinely ordaining the birth of America in 1776. 

Give thanks for creating this nation as a place to which Your people still come, from all over the world, to escape religious persecution. 

Pray people will wake up to the inroads that socialism and communism has made in America.

Pray for Christians to become more involved in leadership.

 

Government

Pray for a cleansing and uprooting of every branch of the government.

 

Forbid the establishment, the prospering, of any wicked leader at any level of government in this land.

 

May the strength of our nation begin in our home.

Families 

 

Thank God for the creation of families and that as Creator He is the chief builder and protector.

Thank God for your family. 

 

Declare that every person in our household is submitted to You and Your Word at all times. 

Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

Psalm 127:1

 

Pray children would grow in obedience. May they be respectful and kind. May they obey their parents, for this is right according to the Word of God. May our children honor their mother and father that all will go well for them and they will live a long life.

 

Children, obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"-which is the first commandment with a promise- so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.
